Babu Rajendran, who first asked Amma's permission
to start the home in 1995, supervises Anbu Illam.
He is currently assisted by two of Amma's brahmacharis
who guide the daily program of archana, bhajans,
and play host to visitors.
Babu donated the country property, which is
about 11 kilometres from Sivakasi. He also collected
a committee of 10 people and organised the building
work. More than 30 people came to help and M.A.
Math provided the remaining finances to complete
the building. Babu's committee contributes a
quarter of the running costs. |
