“Amma gives unconditional love, unlimited love, to anybody that She meets.” —Mae-Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta
“Amma has a pure heart and a lot of power. She can make things happen easily. I first met Amma at the UN in Geneva. I was on a panel as a co-chair of the Global Peace Initiative of Women Religious and Spiritual Leaders, and while I was there, Amma was present to receive the ‘Ghandi-King Award.’ While Amma was on the stage, I perceived Her natural beauty. For someone who was so simple, so shy, and with such purity, I had a question in my heart: there has got to be someone or something behind Her working heart to make Her such a beautiful person and for Her to be so giving to the world.
“With Her suffering behind Her, She can understand people who are suffering. The people who are struggling will understand people who are struggling. When one person knows suffering and gets out of their own suffering, it is a direct experience that one can’t get anywhere else. In Amma’s case, it is a direct benefit to the world because She can share that with the world.
“If we breathe in gently and with calmness, our breathing out cannot help but be useful and will lead to the success of the world. Amma breathes in with peace in Her Heart and with calmness within, so when She is breathing out, She gives unconditional love, unlimited love, to anybody that She meets.”
