Amma arrived in New York for a three-day program at the Javits Center, drawing thousands of people who eagerly gathered to experience her divine presence.
Throughout the event, Amma delivered inspiring satsangs, sang soul-uplifting bhajans, and led guided meditation and prayers for world peace. Over the course of the three days, she gave darshan, embracing thousands of devotees and offering them her divine solace and blessings.
The program also attracted several notable personalities. Renowned Acharya Dr. Sthaneshwar Timalsina, a religious scholar and associate professor in the department of religious studies at San Diego State University, came to receive Amma’s blessings. Elizabeth Gilbert, the American journalist and author of the New York Times best-selling book Eat, Pray, Love, spent time in Amma’s divine presence. Ben Vereen, the acclaimed American actor, dancer, and singer, and winner of the Tony Award for Best Actor, shared a few heart-touching moments with Amma.
After concluding the three-day program in New York, Amma and her tour group set out for Chicago, the final stop of the America Yatra 2024.
