On this auspicious occasion of Kuchela Dinam, Amma’s little children lovingly offered the Bhagavatam, much like Kuchela humbly offered flattened rice (Avil) to Lord Shri Krishna.
The enchanting tale of Kuchela, from Sudamacharita, depicted in the 10th Canto, 80th chapter, was recited this evening in the rhythmic style of Vanchipattu1.
The scene was made even more vibrant as both boys and girls, dressed in traditional attire—boys in dothi and shall, and girls in silk skirts and blouses—chanted the chapter of the Bhagavatam while Amma was giving Darshan.
Their heartfelt chanting, steeped in innocence and devotion, filled the atmosphere, echoing the pure love of Kuchela’s offering to Bhagavan Shri Krishna.
