Promotion of Malayalam Language
A once obscure language, people all over the world are learning to sing in Malayalam, the language of Kerala. Approximately more than 4,000 bhajans have been composed and tuned by Amma and her ashramites. Some of the bhajans were written by Amma Herself. Many of her monastic disciples also regularly compose bhajans. The emotions and moods one encounters at various different phases of spiritual progress find expression in these prayer-songs. This is big contribution to the spiritual literature, which is composed in many Indian and foreign languages as well.
